Communism 2.0

Intro

There is a specter haunting my conscience, that specter is Capitalism. Every day, I must live in the pain of knowing those around me think they live in a free country. I admit, the USA isn’t the worst place to live, and the government is tolerant, but its people don’t usually reflect that. While the government might be culturally tolerant, our media promotes islamaphobia and ignorance. School doesn’t teach us about other cultures or beliefs. In school I learnt that “America is the good guy” “the USSR was Communist” and Capitalism = Democracy. They teach us we live in a “free” society, where the friendly corporations fund our schools and donate money to charities.

But in reality, we live in a two party system, where our votes don’t count. Only an elite group (typically of old white men) have votes that count for our presidential election. This Electoral College as we call it, was set up because in the time of Americas revolution the people weren’t well educated enough to make decisions for them selves. But guess what? That was over 200 years ago; we have public schooling, and the internet to inform us. We are perfectly capable of making these decisions ourselves.

Our society teaches us that to be important we need money. To be cool you must wear name brand clothes, and listen to what ever fad song is currently playing on the air waves. To be smart you must conform in school, and be wealthy enough to move on to college. Our media doesn’t care that people are starving (unless celebrities get involved) or that genocide is being committed in Africa. They don’t report when America funds terror, but jump on the patriot band wagon when they deem freedom fighters terrorist and drop bombs on villages.

How do we stop this you ask? The answer is simple, revolution. Though it would mean instant death if we took arms against the National Guard and stormed the white house. We, the people, need to educate ourselves. We need to outsmart the government. We need to unite, and gain international support. It’s logical to think their will be opposition, but if our peaceful cause is met with a violent reaction, this will only help us gain support. Who knows how long it will take, or how hard it will be, just keep one thing in mind it will be worth it. Though Im directing this towards citizens of the United States, this is an international message, “the revolution is eminent”.

Well, I won’t get too much into the details of the revolution, because there’s no way to tell what will happen, and the key point of this text is what will happen after the revolution. If we keep our eyes on our goal, it makes the revolution that much easier.

Now, in my personal opinion, Marxism is a little out dated. It describes a political system that would work in the late 1800’s, not the 21st century. It doesn’t consider man’s desire to improve him self. This (as the title suggests) is a modified version of Communism.

Theory

(Note I’m using man for mankind, not excluding women.)

Man should have liberty. Man should work together to improve the life of himself and his comrades. He should be equal to his comrades, no matter beliefs, color, creed, or imperfections. Nobody is perfect, while some excel physically, others excel mentally, and some people are in between. Every body is good at something, or at least has something they enjoy doing, and should stick with that as a career. You shouldn’t do what makes you the most money. If you make a videogame, you shouldn’t be thinking about how many copies you sell, but how fun it is. Nobody should suffer for financial reasons; everybody should be paid a set salary(that isn’t ridiculously low). It’s up to an individual on how they would like to spend there money, one person might want to buy a luxury car, and someone else might want to buy a big house. If someone is irresponsible with their money, it’s there fault. Sure, being a kind human being you can help them, but if you’re better off, its because you were more responsible.

The government shouldn't rule over the people, the government should be the people. Elections should be held, and anyone who is qualified has the right to run for office. The ruler should be elected by the people, directly, not through representatives.

Health care and school should be free, and available to everyone. Keep in mind, not all people earn the same way, some might prefer the class room, some might prefer a private tutor. Transportation to hospitals should be provided for those who need it, and should not cost them.
